| The leaves crunched underfoot as the two cats wandered through the forest, everything was so unfamiliar. New scents weaved through the trunks of the pine trees and the two cats shared an uneasy glance. They'd been travelling for moons and finally they felt as if the end of their journey was just around the corner. The scent of cat had gotten stronger as they had entered the pine trees and the fur along their backs bristled with unease.
The leader of the two, a silver bengal she-cat with icy blue eyes, stopped her brisk walk. She raised her head and sniffed the air then licked her tail signalling for the other cat to follow. She bounded quickly through the trees, leaping over logs and the occasional boulder, until she came to the place where the cat scent was strongest. Gingerly, she reached out a poor and parted a clump of bushes. The silver cat stepped forward through the gap and into the clearing. Eventually the two cats had found the place where their journey would end.
The other cat followed the leader through the bush, fluffing her fur out to make herself look bigger. "Do we have to, Haze? What if they are vicious? We wouldn't stand a chance." she hissed flicking her tail.
Haze shook her head. She was certain that they were gathered at this camp, or could you even call it that, for a reason. 'No, Holly." she mewed "It'll be fine." The silver cat felt her fur prickle a little more at her own words, she didn't know it would be fine, but for some reason she felt that this was the right place.

| "I suppose you're here looking for something?" Mouse meowed smoothly as she slid from the undergrowth nearby. She had picked up on the pair of she-cats as they weaved through the territory. There was no hostility radiating from them, much like the cat who had come before. Since then, she had learned of their purpose in coming here. This was Shadowclan. They were Shadowclan. Apparently, many seasons ago their ancestors had walked this land. Her and Grizzle were far too young to have memories of those days. But, being back here felt right. It was the dream of the strange cat that brought her home. Honeyfur had been some distant relative of hers who had passed and gone to be with this 'Starclan' that she was just learning of. If what Duck said was true, and she had gotten a dream that called her back here, then Mouse had assumed others would follow suit.
It felt strange to not have Griz by her side at all times. Yet, as they grew more comfortable in the territory, it was easier to split the tasks of renovating the camp and hunting. The days of the stump now felt like a long time ago. She would be lying if she said she never missed it, but the pair of them was far better off here. Her long tail flickered ever so slightly as she looked over the two new cats. It did seem like this would be the end of their journey. If it was that they were Shadowclan cats, the rest would welcome they home without any issues. Duck was sweet; Grizzle was a little uncomfortable with the whole ordeal. Although her companion was not a fan of having to constantly be around cats other than just themselves, Mouse was finding herself enjoying the company and eager for more to come. It seemed this Starclan had answered her silent plea.
"My name's Mouse. And you are?" The slender and rather tall, grey-coated cat settled back on her haunches. She looked down at the pair with light green eyes. Although her gaze may have appeared calculating, on the inside, Mouse was bursting with excitement. As soon as they cleared up these cats motives for being here, everything could be on its way to being settled. The more paws the better. Much to Grizzle's chagrin, she had taken up the task of already preparing extra nests in the dens. The one they slept in was once the 'warrior's den'. But, none of the new Shadowclan knew that yet. They had simply decided the other den, the former apprentice's den, was much too small for cats of their size. Now, she considered the smaller of the new arrivals could likely fit there in one of the prepared nest. However, Grizzle insisted on them all sleeping together. As much as he disliked the others being around, he had begun to care for their wellbeing. But, they could figure all of this out later.

| Haze's ears flattened as the new cat approached them, her banded tail sweeping the undergrowth. Upon instinct the she-cat moved herself between the brown she-cat and Holly, sending a nervous glance at the brown bengal. Her attention however, quickly turned back to the new cat when she began to speak. Haze sensed no hostility in her voice, but the silver she-cat was still on edge, ready to stand her ground if things changed.
The question asked by the unfamiliar cat, made her think. How could she answer that without sounding crazy? What was the best answer to avoid a fight? Would what she say hurt Holly? Truth be told, Haze didn't really entirely know the answer to that question, it was just a gut feeling that she'd so happened to of shared with Holly. It was a while before Haze stopped mulling over the possible answers and spoke up "I don't know to be fair. I, well we, had a gut feeling to leave and then we smelt the cat scent and it lead us here."
--
Holly watched with curiosity as the Haze and the new cat conversed, ears flickering slightly. It annoyed Holly to be left out of these sorts of things, Haze had always been the one to handle these sort of things. The bengal she-cat watched as more cats walked around the clearing going about their lives. "What is this place?" she purred
--
Haze ignored Holly's question, more interested in their current situation. She smiled softly when the new cat introduced herself as Mouse, just knowing her name made the bengal cat more comfortable. Haze swept the ground around her paws and settled down into a sitting position. "I'm Haze," she purred "And this is Holly, my daughter." Haze flicked her tail in Holly's direction then turned her icy blue gaze back to Mouse.
